Q How can we find the perfect videographer for our wedding?
A Laura-May Barber says: I would start by looking at different styles of video. For example, are you looking for something cinematic or traditional? Make sure that whoever you enquire with can show you some examples of their work so you can get a feel for what they produce. Do they edit their videos in-house or subcontract? The edit can make a huge difference to the end product, so you might want to know if they are involved from start to finish. How the video is delivered might also be important to you; some videographers will provide a digital download, while others might offer video albums or USB sticks. Some will make a 10-minute highlight reel, while others might make an hour-long film, so this is also something worth considering.

Experience is key. Find out if they have worked at your venue before and, even better, if they have worked with your photographer. You'll find that experienced photographers can recommend videographers they particularly enjoy working with, so ask around and get recommendations; it could help to narrow down your search.

If you are camera shy, you might be feeling overwhelmed by having a photographer and videographer for over eight hours. I get it! In this case, choose a videographer who is relaxed, can put you at ease, and can blend in with your friends and family.
