Ashford-based, Photography by Lisa, has won best newcomer at the Kent Wedding Awards!

Lisa adds, "My ethos is all about being personal, I don't view myself as a company but as a storyteller for people's life moments. As a friendly female photographer, my mission is to always be there for my clients, providing a supportive and comforting presence on their special day. I'm dedicated to capturing the beauty of each unique wedding and preserving the emotions of the day through my images. Every wedding is a unique and special occasion, and I pride myself on my ability to adapt to each event. Whether it's a traditional ceremony or a more unconventional celebration, I have the experience and expertise to capture the essence of the day in a way that reflects its distinctive character.

"I'm different from the other photographers as I believe I'm there for my couples, it's not a photo shoot I allow the couple to lead the day and I just give a gentle hand with prompts to capture the beauty of them both and help them see their own beauty Weddings can be chaotic and stressful, but my ability to multitask ensures that I can handle even the most challenging situations with ease. As a single mum to three daughters and a previous driving instructor, I am adept at managing my time and resources effectively, allowing me to capture all the important moments without missing a beat. A can handle many things with ease and this transfers to the couple to help them stay relaxed on the day.

"I also bond with my couples through the months from initial contact to the wedding getting to know them so I can get the best relationship for the wedding day, this includes unlimited messages emails calls, and meet ups, if my couple is shy I encourage numerous free sessions to help get them used to being photographed, I send questionnaires before the pre wedding meet up so I get to know them as a couple with some fun questions about them and relationship then with photo prompts i use fun and laughter rather than model style poses.

"My favourite saying is: Your photographs should be about your wedding, not the wedding is about the photos The most valuable aspect of the service I offer to wedding clients is the personal connection and dedication I provide throughout the entire process. I am always available to my clients any time of day, ensuring that they can reach me whenever they have questions or concerns. This constant communication helps us create a strong relationship and bond, so on the wedding day, they don't feel like I'm imposing or intruding on their special moments.
