Set amongst beautiful walled gardens on the banks of the River Cray, surrounded by the glorious Kent countryside, this Tudor house is a memorable wedding venue. Each room has its own individual character and style, with original features such as stone fireplaces, wood panelling and mullioned windows. Wedding parties can utilise the North Courtyard and pretty private garden for drinks receptions or barbecues on warm summer evenings. These areas can also be used to capture photos while the lovebirds enjoy their day in complete privacy.
Celebrate in style
There are four spaces licensed for ceremonies, accommodating guest lists from 40 up to 100. The Parlour is an intimate wood-panelled room with a cosy feel reflecting the history of the house. It can host 40 for the ‘I dos.’
The Great Chamber is a bright and airy space with views of the topiary lawns. Going up in capacity, the Tudor Kitchen can host 100. Another light space, it boasts stone walls and a beamed ceiling.
Finally, the Great Hall is complete with chandeliers, a minstrels’ gallery and an abundance of natural daylight. As well as ceremonies witnessed by 100 loved ones, it can also accommodate wedding breakfasts for the same number, with space for 140 in the evening.

The property’s grounds feature rose gardens, a topiary lawn and a charming courtyard, plus the historical building provides an impressive backdrop for the big day.
